Messin’ With Sasquatch

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

I have to admit that this is one of my favorite TV campaigns as of late. You definitely have to root for the sasquatch as he is relentlessly tormented by man. The Interactive part of the campaign is pretty entertaining as well. Not only have they created a very detailed world to interact with but you get to enjoy the thoughts of our sasquatch hero via his myspace profile. You can also check out the web only spot here.

Funship Island

To me a cruise has never seemed very appealing. The thought of being stuck on a boat with a bunch of drunk people and kids terrifies me. The recent web site launched by Carnival Cruise Lines called Funship Island has opened my eyes to a whole new experience. Using video and a wide array of interesting interfaces it sucks takes the user into the site. I have read that the average user spends over 30 minutes on the site. How about that for brand engagement?
